What is the Child Dental Benefits Scheme and is my child eligible for it?

The Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CBDS) is a benefits program that serves children from the ages of 2 – 17, and can provide cover for dental procedures for up to $1000 over two years. Eligibility is determined by the holding of a valid Medicare card, or participation in other benefit schemes, such as Youth Allowance or the Disability Support Pension.
